View or Modify the Auto-sense Port Configuration
Perform this procedure to view or modify the Auto-sense configuration on one or more ports. You also have the option to disable Auto-sense on the port but retain the configuration that the system applied dynamically. The dynamic configuration becomes a manual configuration and is visible in the show running-config output.
Procedure
- In the navigation pane, expand .
- Select AutoSense.
- Select the Port AutoSense tab.
- To change the Auto-sense state on a port, select a new value for AutoSense in the appropriate row for the port.
- Optional: If you disable Auto-sense on a port, select true for AutoSenseKeepAutoConfig to retain the configuration that the system applies dynamically.
- Optional: Type a value in AutoSenseDataIsid to configure a specific I-SID on the port.
- Optional: Type a value in AutoSenseWaitInterval to configure a specific interval on the port.
- Select Apply.

AutoSenseState |
Displays the Auto-sense port state. |
AutoSenseDataIsid |
Specifies the Auto-sense data I-SID per port. The port configuration takes precedence over the global data I-SID configuration. |
AutoSenseWaitInterval |
Specifies the Auto-sense wait time on a port. The port configuration takes precedence over the global wait-interval configuration. The default value is 35. |
